How to become a probationist
We take in probationists in Terms 3 or 4. Most probationists are Sec1, either reccomended by teachers or senior councillors. You can also apply when the application forms are released.
All applicants have to go through an interview,
and results will be released a few weeks later.
In Sec1, you don't have to be a monitor, or school leader to be a probationist, just show trace of leadership qualities, or do well in the interview.
During their probation, probates will be monitored
by the Exco, teachers and their mentors.
There will be a few more interviews until the investiture, when the now Sec2 probationists are invested as councillors
Sec2 probationists are not allowed to be monitors,
as in the case where they succeed in their probation, the workload will be too much to handle later on.
food for Thought
A leader, once convinced that a particular course of action is the right one, must be undaunted when the going gets tough.
